Hi, I'm Imogen - an interdisciplinary artist from the UK.

My practice is primarily concerned with texture and as such, I do not subscribe to one particular discipline - opting to use a variety of photography, textile, sculpture and paint, to best portray these haptic qualities.

I draw inspiration from the organic shapes, colours and textures observed in rural environments. Through a process of extracting and distilling these key components, I aim to create abstract forms reminiscent of a landscape, though not directly identifiable.

My approach to material is experimental as I use traditional craft materials in unorthodox ways - creating works that tend to inhabit the space between painting and sculpture.
