Residency @ Hub Feenix

Life at Hub Feenix

Step beyond the Residency Wing and you enter a dynamic, multi-level building with studios, shared workspaces, many communal areas are all woven into the structure, inviting movement throughout the day. You’re not confined to one corridor or one room. You circulate. You shift environments. You change pace.

Outside, nature is immediate. Green space surrounds the building, offering space to reset between sessions.

Living here means having access. To space. To tools. To air. To people. To quiet when you seek it and activity when you want it. The village expands outward, but your home base remains steady.

Community Life

Hub Feenix is home to five interconnected communities: artists, digital nomads, volunteers, full-time residents and staff. Each brings a different flow and perspective to village life. Artists and digital nomads contribute a global, creative energy, volunteers keep the space running, while the staff and full-time residents steward the building and actively shape its culture.

Daily Rhythm

Life here moves in shared rituals as much as individual schedules. Mornings are often quiet and focused. Afternoons open into conversation and collaboration. And on Wednesday evenings, the community gathers for the weekly sauna (sometimes by the lake!) - a simple but meaningful tradition. There’s no single way to participate here - just an open invitation to contribute in a way that feels authentic to you.

On-site Amenities

The village offers a range of shared amenities designed to support both focus and downtime. A dedicated movie room creates space for film nights. The music room invites spontaneous jam sessions. There’s an onsite gym with basic equipment and an indoor climbing wall for movement. A hair and healing salon for eco-friendy hair cuts and services like acupuncture and massages. And access to a shared manual car for local trips and adventures. These spaces aren’t just facilities - they’re extensions of the creative environment.

Nature & Wellbeing

Hub Feenix offers space to reset as well as create. Many artists build walks into their daily routine, using time outdoors to think through ideas. In winter, the landscape shifts with the nearby lake freezing for skating, and cross-country ski trails openup through the surrounding forest. Wellbeing is embedded in the setting.

Sustainability as a Shared Practice

From shared resources to mindful material use in studios, residents are encouraged to approach both their creative process and daily life with awareness. The campus itself reflects this mindset. Solar panels contribute to the energy that powers daily life. The community clothing closet encourages thoughtful consumption. And small acts, such as recycling, conserving energy, maintaining shared areas and plant-based meals help sustain the campus for everyone who passes through it. Living collectively means considering how we impact the space and each other.

Begin Your Next Chapter Here

This residency is designed for artists who are curious about process and participation. The forest, the lake, the studio spaces, the amenities, the rhythm - they are here to support your work, not distract from it.

If this environment feels aligned with your practice, we’d love to hear from you.
