Residency @ Hub Feenix

About Hub Feenix

Hub Feenix rises from a restored sanatorium to form a vibrant community of artists, nomads, volunteers, and residents living under one expansive roof. Welcoming people from around the world, it offers studios, workshops, accommodation, healing spaces, and creative programs woven into the surrounding forest landscape.

Our Dream & Mission

It was originally built as a tuberculosis sanatorium in the early 20th century, designed for rest, and recovery. Many of the building’s long corridors, large windows, and generous common spaces come from that original purpose.

After Raisa and Torsten stumbled across the old sanatorium, they made a whirlwind decision, and won it in an auction on April Fools' Day 2020. They set out to transform it into something extraordinary. Today, the focus has shifted from healing bodies to creating a vibrant, inspiring community where people from around the world could come together to live, work, create, and grow. Our mission is to provide not just a place to stay, but a home where creativity, collaboration, and well-being thrive. Through years of heartfelt effort (and many, many renovation projects), the co-op have created a space that cultivates gratitude, renewal, and personal growth, where countless guests now simply feel at home.

The campus now hosts 6 event spaces, 100 beds, 20+ full-time residents, an international digital nomads program, a lively volunteer community and our an artist residency program.
